HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-57-16.A - 12/01/1957 - ZONE LEE GLADSTONE PROPERTYI ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Lee Gladstone, the owner of certain property within the corporate limits of the City of McHenry, known and describe as follows: Parcel 1. Lots 1 to 7 inclusive in Block 2, in Venice Park Addition to McHenry, Unit No. 1, being a subdivision of part of fractional quarter Section 26 and part of fractional quarter Section 35, lying west of Fox River and south of the Boone Lagoon, in Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in the City of McHenry, County of McHenry and State of Illinois. Parcel 11. A parcel of land described as follows: Commencing at a stake which stands North, 32 3/4 degrees East, 68 feet from the South Quarter Section corner of Section 26, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, and running thence South 73 3/4 degrees Fast 132 feet to a stake; thence North 19 1/4 degrees East, 132 feet to a stake; thence North 70 3/4 degrees West, 172 feet to a stake; thence South, 2 1/4 degrees West, 138 feet to the place of beginning, in McHenry County, Illinois. has petitioned the City Council of the City of McHenry, as by Zoning Ordinance of the said city made and provided relative to a change in classification of property for special uses; and WHEREAS, the said petition having been heard by the City Council of the City of McHenry, after publication of notice and payment of the fee, pursuant to the statute; and WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of McHenry that the petition be granted, subject to such clarification and amendments as hereinafter set forth; and LOOZE & KINNE ATTORNEYS 111 IF -LM fTREET MCF 'LLINOIS 1 1580 LOOZE & KINNE ATTORNEYS ii: E. — r BTwerr MCHY L1N018 M •580 WHEREAS, the granting of the said petition, as amended, will not adversely affect surrounding or adjacent property, will not increase traffic hazards, and will not endanger surrounding property from fire and other hazards, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, that the Zoning Ordinance of the said city be and hereby is amended to permit the usage of all of the property as hereinbefore described, with the exception of Lot Seven (7) in Block Two (2) in Venice Park Addition to McHenry, Unit No. 1, for hospital and clinic use, and for such incidental uses thereto as are customary and ordinary in a hospital and clinic operation, said usage to include the use of said property, or portions thereof, for off-street parking facilities; and BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry that the Zoning Ordinance of the said City of McHenry be amended to permit the use of Lot 7 in Block 2 in Venice Park Addition to McHenry, Unit No. 1, for off-street parking facilities, only, that this variation shall not permit any use of the said Lot 7 for build or construction of any nature other than residential. ty Clerk Mayor -2-
