AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES
FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR
Whereas the City Council of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry, and State of
Illinois, did on the 17th day of July A.D., 1950, pass the Annual Appropriation for said
City for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1950, the amount of which is ascertained to be
the aggregate sum of Eighty Four Thousand, Three Hundred Sixty -Eight Dollars and fifty
cents ($84,368.50), which said Appropriation Bill was duly published on the 27th day of
July, A. D., 1950, Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois,
that there be and is hereby levied upon all taxable property within the corporate limits
of said City for the year 1950, the total sum of Twenty-five Thousand Five Hundred Sixty -
Eight Dollars and fifty cents ($25,568.50) for the foll6wing specific purposes mentioned
in said Appropriation Bill and in the respective sums as follows, to -wit;
