AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES
FOR THE CURRFIT FISCAL YEAR
Whereas the City Council of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry, and State of
Illinois, did on the! 20th day of Tune A.D. 1949, pass the Annual Appropriation for said
City for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1949, the amount of which is ascertained to
be the aggregate sum of One Hundred Fifty One Thousand, Nine Hundred Thirty One Dollars
and no cents ($151,931.00), which said Appropriation Bill was duly published on the
23rd day of Tune A.D. 1949, Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of McHenry, McHenry
County, Illinois,
that there be and is hereby levied upon all taxable property within the
corporate limits
of said City for the year 1949, the total sum
of Twenty-two Thousand Sixty-eight Dollars
and fifty cents ($22,068.50) for the following
specific purposes mentioned in said
Appropriation Bill and in the respective sums
as follows, to -wit:
