AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES
FOR THE CURREW FISCAL YEAR
Whereas the City Council of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry, and State
of Illinois, did on the 21st day of June A. D. 1948, pass the Annual Appropriation
for said City for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1948, the amount of which is
ascertained to be the aggregate sum of One Hundred Twenty-six Thousand and Fifty-six
Dollars and no cents ($126,056.00), which said Appropriation Bill was duly published
on the 24th day of June A. D. 1948, Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois, that there be and is hereby levied upon all taxable property within the
corporate limits of said City for the year 1948, the total sum of Twenty-two
Thousand Sixty-eight: Dollars and fifty cents ($22,068.50) for the following specific
purposes mentioned in said Appropriation Bill and in the respective sums as follows,
to -wit:
