FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1948-1949
BE IT ORDAINED 13Y THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of McHenry, Illinois:
SETION 1. That :it is deemed necessary in order to defray the necessary expenses
and liabilites of said City for the current fiscal year, that there be and there
hereby is appropriated to provide for the general tax levy and other revenue for
the current fiscal year, the aggregate sum of One Hundred Nineteen Thousand Five
Hundred Fifty-six dollars and no cents ($119,55 6.00); that the object and purposes
for which said appropriation is made and the amounts appropriated for the same
are as follows, to -wits

SECTION 2 All unexpended balances of any item or items of any general appropriation
made by this Ordinance may be expended in making up any insufficiency in any item or
items in the same general appropriation and for the same general purposes or in a like
appropriation made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3 This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication, according to law.
