AFFROPRIATION FOR THE CITY OF McHENRY
FOP THE FISCAL YEAR 1948-1949.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of McHenry, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That, it is deemed necessary in order to defray the necessary expenses
and liabilities of said City for the current fiscal year: that there be and there
hereby is appropriated, supplementally, to provide for the general tax levy and
other revenue for the current fiscal year, the aggregate sum of $6500.00; that
the object and purpose for which said supplemental appropriation is made and
the amount appropriated for same is as follows, to -wit:
Interest on bond indebtedness $ 1,500.00-�-
Payment on maturing bonds 5,000.00 ,
$ 6,5oo.00.-
SECTION 2. All unexpended balances of any item or items of any general appropriation
made by this Ordinance may be expended in making up any insufficiency in any item or
items in the same general appropriation and for the same general purposes or in a like
appropriation made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication, according to law.
