AN ORDINANCE MkICING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1947-1948
BE IT ORDAINEM HY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of McHenry, Illinois:
SIETION 1. That it is deemed necessary in order to defray the necessary expenses
and liabilites of said City for the current fiscal year, that there be and there
hereby is appropriated to provide for the general tag levy and other revenue for
the current fiscal year, the aggregate sum of One hundred one thousand nine hundred
and eighty-one dollars and no cents ($101,981.00); that the object and purposes
for which said appropriation is made and the amounts appropriated for the same
are as follows, to -wits

SECTION 2 All unexpended balances of any item or items of any general
appropriation made by this Ordinance may be expended in making up any in-
sufficiency in any item or items in the same general appropriation and for
the same general purposes or in a like appropriation made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3 This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication, according to law.
