AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS
OF CHAPTER 13, TRAFFIC AND MOTOR VEHICLES,
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 13-1223.1 NO PARKING 8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M.
ON SCHOOL DAYS in the City of McHenry Municipal Code shall be amended by
adding the following:
112. JOHN STREET on the north side of the road between Green
Street and Fourth Street."
SECTION 2: That Section 13-1222 NO PARKING AT ANYTIME in the City
of McHenry Municipal Code, shall be amended by deleting subsection (24.5) and
replacing it as follows:
1124.5 WAUKEGAN RD on the north side of the road from a point 610'
east of Green Street to the Fox River."
SECTION 3: That Section 13-1228 TWO (2) HOUR PARKING in the City
of McHenry Municipal code shall be amended by deleting the following:
117. WAUKEGAN RD from Green St to the westerly edge of the main
entrance to McHenry Villa on the north side of
Waukegan Rd."
SECTION 4: That Section 13-1222 NO PARKING AT ANY TIME in the City
of McHenry Municipal Code shall be amended by deleting the following:
1124.2 WAUKEGAN RD on the south side from 'Third Street to a point
39 feet east of Third Street."
SECTION 5: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00)
nor more than Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) for each offense
committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 6: All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 7: This ordinance shall'be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 8: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
