AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS
OF CHAPTER 13, TRAFFIC AND MOTOR VEHICLES,
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 13-1222 NO PARKING AT ANY TIME in the City
of McHenry Municipal Code shall be amended by deleting paragraph 11 "John
Street" and replacing it as follows:
"11. John Street along both side from Green St to the entrance
driveway for the McHenry country Club; on the
north side from the westerly point of the
western most edge of the Green Street right-of-
way to a point 50 feet west".
SECTION 2: That Section 13-1223.1 be added to the City of McHenry
Municipal Code as follows:
1113-1223.1 NO PARKING 8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. ON SCHOOL DAYS
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle to
park such vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
on School Days in any of the following locations:
A. John Street on the south side from Green St
west to Fourth St."
SECTION 3: That Section 13-1225 PARKING FOR MEDICALLY HANDICAPPED
PERSONS in the City of McHenry Municipal Code shall be amended by deleting
subsection 13-1225(B) as follows:
PERMANENT DISABILITY IDENTIFICATION CARD:
First time issuance fee for a 4 year card ......... $5.00
Reissue or replacement fee of a 4 year card ....... $2.00.
SECTION 4: That Section 13-1226 FIFTEEN (1.5) MINUTE PARKING in the
City of McHenry Municipal Code shall be deleted.
SECTION 5: That Section 13-1227.1 TWO (2) HOUR PARKING 8:00 A.M.
TO 4:00 P.M. ON SCHOOL DAYS be amended in the City of McHenry Municipal Code
as follows:
112. John Street along the north side of the street from a point
200 feet east of Front Street to a point 50 feet
west of Green Street and along the south side of
the street from a point 200 feet east of Front
Street to Fourth Street.."
SECTION 6: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00)
nor more than Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) for each offense
committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 7: All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 8: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 9: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
