AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF MCEMURY,
McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 602 3.f. of Chapter 13 of the Municipal
Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, commonly known as the Traffic and
Motor Vehicle Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, relating
to 30 miles per hour speed zone areas, is hereby added to read as
follows:
Riverside Drive - that portion of Riverside Drive
which is located in the City between orchard Beach
Road and Kama Avenue;"
SECTION 2. Section 602 4.h. of Chapter 13 of the Municipal
Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, commonly known as the Traffic and
Motor Vehicle Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, relating
to 35 miles per hour speed zone areas, reading as follows:
4.h. Riverside Drive - that portion of Riverside Drive
which is located in the City between Orchard Beach
Road and Kama Avenue;"
is hereby deleted;
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any
provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty
Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars
($750.00) for each offense committed on each day during, or on
which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict
with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet
form by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the
City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided
by law.
