AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS as follows:
SECTION 1. Article VIII of Chapter 2 of the City of McHenry Municipal
Code, entitled "Plan Commission," is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following Section 2-205 Members' Terms:
"Section 2-205. Members' Terms.
Upon expiration of existing terms of appointment, any new
appointment or re -appointment to the Plan Commission shall be for a
period of two years, effective as of the fiscal year beginning May 1,
1994. Any appointment to fill a vacancy on an existing five year
unexpired term shall be for the period of two years from the preceding
May 1."
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
