AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following Section 2-113 of Chapter 2 of the
City of McHenry Municipal Code, is hereby repealed:
"Sec. 2-113. Compensation.
The City Attorney shall receive for his services a retainer
fee of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) per year, which shall be
full compensation for attendance at regular Council meetings.
For any services not covered by the retainer, he shall receive
compensation as may be authorized by the Mayor and City Council."
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof', in conflict with
the terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
