AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section VIC of the Subdivision Control Ordinance of the City of
McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended by adding thereto the folllowing provision as and for
paragraph 9 thereof:
"9. LETTER FROM LAND SURVEYOR. The subdivider shall furnish the City
with a letter from the subdivision's land surveyor for delivery to the McHenry
County Recorder of Deeds which letter shall authorize a City representative
to record the Final Plat of Subdivision."
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance
shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00) for each offense committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 3. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the terms and provisions
hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published in p:_ ,F,7let form by and under the
authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
