AN ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE NO. MC-93-592
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 13-1104 of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code,
City of McHenry, Illinois, commonly known as the Traffic and Motor
Vehicle Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following additional stop street:
STOP STREET INTERSECTING STREET
Glenbrook Trail (NB/SB) Driftwood Trail
SECTION 2. Section 13-604, number 11, of Chapter 13 relating to
School Speed Zones be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"11. Driftwood Trail - Courtland Trail to Glenbrook Trail".
SECTION 3. Section 13-604 of Chapter 13 be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following additional School Speed Zone
areas:
1112. Crystal Lake Road - Glenbrook Trail to Malibu Court.
13. Winding Creek Drive - Crystal Lake Road to Driftwood
Trail.
14. Glenbrook Trail - Crystal Lake Road to Cross Trail.
15. Cross Trail - Glenbrook Trail to Courtland Trail.
16. Courtland Trail - Cross Trail to Driftwood Trail."
SECTION 4. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars
($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense
committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 5. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
