BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF Mc.HENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. ' Section 26-140(f)l of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry,
Illinois, is hereby amended by increasing the sewer Basic User Charge rate
therein provided from $1.00 per 1,000 gallons of water used to $1.15 per
1,000 gallons of water used, to become effective on November 1, 1992.
SECTION 2. Section 26-141 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry,
Illinois is hereby amended by increasing the non -metered sewer Basic User
Charge rate therein provided for inside and outside the Corporate limits
from $13.34 to $15.34 thereby resulting in a total flat rate inside the
Corporate limits of $26.0 0 and outside the Corporate limits of $31.34, to
become effective on November 1, 1992.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor
more than Five Hundred Dollars for each offense committed on each day
during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to t'::r
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
