AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 13-1222.24.3 of Chapter 13 of the City of McHenry
Municipal Code, commonly known as the Traffic and Motor Vehicle Ordinance,
relating to no parking at any time on the south side of Waukegan Road from a
point 211 feet east of Third Street to a point 311 feet east of Thrid Street
(in front of the White House Kindergarten), is hereby deleted.
SECTION 2. Section 13-1228.1 which provides for two hour parking in
certain locations in the City, be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
1. ELM ST. on both sides from Riverside Drive to Court Street.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor
more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each
day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
