AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 13-1225 of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code,
City of McHenry, Illinois, commonly known as the Traffic and Motor
Vehicle Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, is hereby amended
by changing the five medically handicapped person parking spaces on
Center Street to read as follows:
CENTER ST the five northern most parking spaces on the east
side of Center Street adjoining the First United
Methodist Church, except that the southern most three
parking spaces shall only be handicapped parking
spaces from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon on Sundays Only.
SECTION 2. Section 13-1210 is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following additional angle parking location:
K. CENTER ST east side, from Main Street to John Street.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any
provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five
Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each
offense committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs
or continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with
the terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.
