AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENBY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 13-1226.A.2 of Chapter 13 of the City of McHenry
Municipal Code, commonly known as the Traffic and Motor Vehicle Ordinance,
relating to 15 minute parking for the loading and unloading of vehicles
adjacent to the building at Riverside Drive and Elm Street, be and the same
is hereby deleted.
SECTION 2. Section 13-1222.8.6 of Chapter 13, relating to "No Parking
At Any Time", be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
8.6 GREEN ST on the west side of the street immediately north of
the southerly driveway entrance to 1111 N. Green
Street for a distance of 45 feet, except that this 45
foot space shall be reserved exclusively for parking
Regional Transportation Authority buses.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor
more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each
day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
