BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 17-5 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"All applications for zoning relief, except as to those
matters expressly exempted therefrom by Section AD of the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, shall be accompanied
by an initial retained personnel deposit in the sum of $250.00,
which sum shall be used toward deferring the expenses and fees of
its retained personnel as described in said Section III) of the
Zoning Ordinance, and the expense of providing copies of
unauy� r"Y Plan Commission Minutes and Zoning Board of
Appeals reports and recommendations as rovided in Section -8

. t any time that the balance of the initial retained
personnel deposit is reduced to the sum of $75.00, the zoning
applicant shall make such other and further deposit, upon the
request of the City Clerk, as may be necessary to restore the
retained personnel fund balance to the initial sum of $250.00. All
proceedings in connection with the zoning application shall be
stayed until the zoning applicant has complied with the retained
personnel requirements of this ordinance."
SECTION 2. Chapter 17 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following provision as and for Section 17-8 thereof:
"A draft copy of the unapproved Plan Commission minutes
and Zoning Board of Appeals reports and recommendations shall
be mailed without charge to those persons who have registered
their names as attendees at any Plan Commission or Zoning Board
of Appeals hearing and who have indicated on the attendance sheet
of that Plan Commission or Zoning Board of Appeals meeting that
such person wants a copy of such minutes or report and
recommendation. 'Be failure to receive mail delivery of such
minutes or report and recommendation shall not constitute a basis
for objecting to the proceedings or to delay any scheduled
proceedings relating to the subject matter of such meetings or
report and recommendation. Such Plan Commission minutes and
Zoning Board - and recommendations shall also be furnished
without charge to any person residing within the planning juris-
diction of the City who presents himself or herself at the City Hall
and requests copies thereof. "
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance
shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00) for each offense committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the terms and provisions
hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the
authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
