AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION I. Section 13-1222 of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code, City
of McHenry, Illinois, commonly known as the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following additional no -parking location:
15.1 Municipal Center Driveway the entire length of the
driveway along both sides.
SECTION 2. Section 13-602.2 is hereby amended by establishing the
following additional 20 miles per hour speed limit:
f. Municipal Center Driveway - along the entire length.
SECTION 3. Sec ti on 13-1104 be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto the additional stop street:
STOP STREET INTERSECTING STREET
Municipal Center Driveway (EB) Green Street
SECTION 4. Section 13-1208 is hereby amended by establishing the
following additional fire lane, to wit, along the curbing on the western
edge of the sidewalk fronting the Municipal Center building as designated by
signs.
SECTION 5. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor
more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each
day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 6. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the aut ority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 8. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
