AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Traffic and Motor Vehicle Ordinance of the City of
McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended by adding thereto the following
provision as and for Section 13-1232:
Section 13-1232. LOADING ZONES. It shall be unlawful for the
operator of a motor vehicle to permit the standing or parking of a
motor vehicle in the following designated loading zone areas unless
such motor vehicle is a delivery vehicle which is servicing an
adjoining business:
(a) The east side of the Riverside Drive Municipal Parking Lot
(Appendix A-6) between Pearl Street and a point which is 14
feet south of 1309 Riverside Drive (except the area located
at the rear of 1315 Riverside Drive).
SECTION 2. Section 13-1209 of the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of t e City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 13-1209. NO PARKING 2:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. To make
possible the cleaning of streets and remova o snow and ice, it
shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle to park
such motor vehicle between the hours of 2:00 o'clock a.m. to 6:00
o'clock a.m. in any of the following locations:
(a) The paved portion of any roadway;
(b) Riverside Drive Municipal Parking Lot.
SECTION 3. Section 13-1104 of the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of t e City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following additional stop location:
STOP STREET
INTERSECTING STREET
Riverside Drive Municipal
Parking Lot Elm Street (IL. Route 120)
SECTION 4. Section 13-807 of the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 13-807. RIGHT TURN ONLY LANES. It shall be unlawful for
the operator of any vehicle to drive such vehicle in any desgnated
"Right Turn Only" lane except for making a right turn. The
following lanes are designated as "Right Turn Only" lanes:
Northbound curb lane on Green Street at Elm Street;
Southbound curb lane on Green Street at Elm Street;
Riverside Drive Municipal Parking Lot Exit at Elm Street.
SECTION 5. Section 13-708(a)(b) of the Traffic: and Motor Vehicle
Urdinance of the City of McHenry are hereby repealed and paragraphs
(c)(d) and (e) of said Section are hereby renumbered paragraphs (a)(b)
and (c) thereof respectively. Re -numbered paragraph (c) of said section
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following additional one-way
street or roadway:

SECTION 6. Section 13-1210 of the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following additional angle parking only location as and for
paragraph J thereof:
J. RIVERSIDE DRIVE PARKING LOT. West side of the Riverside
Drive Parking Lot.
SECTION 7. Section 13-1230 of the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following additional four (4) hour parking area as and for
paragraph 4 thereof:

SECTION 8. Section 13-1225A of the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following additional handicapped parking spaces:

SECTION 9. Any person, firm or
