AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NcHENRY, W ENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 13-1222.8.5 of the ordinance regulating
traffic and motor vehicles in the City of McHenry, Illinois, which provided
for no parking at any time on the east side of Green Street along the entire
front of the old Post Office Building, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That Section 13-1228.3, which provides for two hour parking
in certain locitions in the City, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
3. Green Street both sides from Pearl Street to Waukegan
Road, except those No Parking At Any Time
areas that are enumerated in
Section 13-1222 .
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor
more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each
day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the au ority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after Its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
