AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NcHENRY, NcHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1225 A. of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code, City
of Mc enry, linois, commonly known as the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the numbering sequence before each handicapped
parking location and by adding thereto the following additional handicapped '
parking spaces:
COURT STREET the one (1) parking space designated with an NO
PARKING LOT in the Court Street Parking Lot (See Appendix A-3
on page 135 hereof).
GREEN STREET (a) the three (3) parking spaces designated with
PARKING LOT an "H" in Zone B of the Green Street Parking
Lot; --
(b) the one 0 ) parking space designated with an
"H" in Zone C of the Green Street Parking
Lot;
(See Appendix A-1 on page 133 hereof).
KNOX PARK EAST the two (2) parking spaces designated with an
PARKING LOT "H" in the Knox Park East Parking Lot (Pool Area)
(See Appendix A-4 on page 136 hereof).
PETERSEN PARK the three (3) parking spaces designated with an
PARKING LOTS "H" in the Petersen Park Parking Lots (See
Appendix 5 on page 137 hereof).
VETERANS MEMORIAL the four (4) parking spaces designated with an
PARK PARKING AREAS "H" in the Veterans Meiorial Park Parking Areas
(See Appendix A-2 on page 134 hereof).
SECTION 2. Section 1220 A.1 of Chapter 13 be and the same is hereby
amended re-aT as follows:
1. VETERANS The southernmost thirteen (13) parking spaces on
MEMORIAL PARK the west side of Park Street adjacent to Veterans
PARKING AREAS Nwrial Park (See Appendix A-2 on page 134
hereof).
SECTION 3. Section 1230 2. and Section 1230 3., of Chapter 13 be and
the same are hereby amended to read as follows:
2. Zone B Green Street Municipal Parking Lot, except the
three (3) parkin spaces designated "H"
handicapped parking FSee Appendix A-1 on page 133
hereof).
3. COURT STREET MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT (MC-89-488)
(except for the permit parking areas and the
designated "H" handicapped parking space (See
Appendix A-3 on page 135 hereof).
SECTION 4. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) nor more
than Five Hundred Dollars (5500.00) for each offense committed on each day
during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 5. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and -provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the au on ty of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
