AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 13-1222-4 and Section
13-1222-4.2 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry,
Illinois, commonly known as the Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
4. Elm Street on the south side from Front Street
to Court Street;"
"4.2 Elm Street on the north side from its
intersection with the West Bank: of Boone Creek
to Court Street;".
SECTION 2. Section 13-1225-2.1 providing for
parking for medically handicapped persons in the first
parking space on the south side of Elm Street east of
Green Street is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. Section 13-1228-2 of Chapter 13 of the
Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois,, commonly known
as the Traffic and Motor Vehicle Ordinance of the City of
McHenry, Illinois be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"2. Elm Street on the north side, beginning 150 feet north-
east of the centerline of Front Street, to its intersection
with the West Bank of Boone Creek.
SECTION 4. Any person, firm or corporation
violating any provision of this ordinance! shall be fined
not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed
on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 5. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
