AN ORDINANCE
DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS.,
SECTION 1. Section 26-145(c) and (d) of the
Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby
amended by changing the present paragraph designation of
Paragraph (c) to (d) and the present paragraph
designation of (d) to (e).
SECTION 2. Section 26-145 of the Municipal Code,
City of McHenry, Illinois is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following paragraph as an for Paragraph (c)
thereof:
"(c) All quarterly bills for such services
furnished to the premises located in McHenry
Shores and Idyl Dell Subdivisions shall be
paid on or before the 20th day of the months
of January, April, July, and October
respectively: Payment of bills for such
quarters after the 20th day of said month
shall subject the user to a penalty of ten
percent (10%) of the amount of the unpaid bill
or Seven Dollars and 50/100 ($7.50), whichever
is greater; payment of bills for such quarters
after the 15th day of February, May, August,
or November respectively, shall subject the
user to another ten percent (10`) of the
amount of the unpaid bill or Seven Dollars and
50/100 ($7.50), whichever is greater."
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation
violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined
not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00 ) nor more than
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed
on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
confl ct w th the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall. be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect rem and after its passage, approval and
publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
