AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2-87.1 of the Municipal Code, City
of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby amended by
increasing the salary of the City Clerk from $18,000.00 to
$26,000.00 per year.
SECTION 2. The salary of the City Collector shall be
$16,000.00 per year.
SECTION 3. The above salary changes for the City Clerk
and City Collector shall go in effect May 1, 1989.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
