HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - MC-88-434 - 01/06/1988 - Ch 2 regular meetings of City Council on Wednesday��ORDINANCE AN ORQ = ' NO.MC-88-434 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 2-38 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "The regular meetings of the Council shall be held in the Council Room on the first, second and third Wednesdays in those months that do not have five Wednesdays and on the first, third and fifth Wednesday of those months that do have five Wednesdays. In addition, a regular annual meeting shall be held in the Council Room on the fourth Wednesday in April of each year at which any and all business may be conducted. If the regular meeting date falls on a legal holiday, the meeting shall not take place but shall be rescheduled by the Council. The aforesaid regular meetings will be held at such hour as the Council may, from time to time, designate. SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its and approval as provided by law. PASSED this 6th day of January, 1988.
