MC-87-409 AN ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section VIIIE4(d) subparagraph 1 of the City of McHenry Subdivision Control Ordinance be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sanitary sewer pipe materials shall be as described in Section 30 of the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Construction in Illinois, 4th Edition dated May, 1986 under the following subparagraphs : 30-3.01B Reinforced Concrete Pipe; 30-3.01C Vitrified Clay Pipe; 30-3.301FDuctile Iron Pipe; 30-3.01I ABS Composite Sewer Pipe; and 30-3.01H PVC Sewer Pipe except the minimum acceptable SDR for ]PVC sewer pipe shall be SDR 26 for sizes 4" - 15". SECTION 2. Section VIIIE4(d), subparagraph 3 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sanitary sewer pipe joints shall be as described in Section 30-302A of the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Construction in Illinois, 4th edition dated May, 1986 as follows: 1. Concrete pipe joints shall conform to ASTM C-443 for flexible gasket material. 2. Vitrified clay pipe joints shall conform to ASTM C-425. Plain end vitrified clay pipe shall be with PVC bell material conforming the ASTM C-1784 and flexible gasket meeting ASTM C-425 specifications. 3. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) sewer pipe joints shall be solvent welded joints per ASTM D-2855 or flexible elastomeric seals per ASTM D-3212. 4. Acrylonitrile - Butadiene - Styrene (ABS) composite sewer pipe joints shall conform to ASTM D-2680 for solvent welded (SC) or mechanical joint compressed 110" ring (OR) type conforming to ASTM D-3212 for flexible elastomeric seals." SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ( $25 . 00 ) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues. SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law. PASSED this 6th day of May , 1987.
