AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section VIIIE6(d)(2) of the Subdivision Control
Ordinance, City of Mclienry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows: 1.
2. Fire hydrants with auxiliary valves of "breakaway" or
"traffic model" design shall be Traverse City, Mueller Centurion
A423 or Waterous Pacer WB-100 type, provided in accordance with the
recommendations of the National Board of Underwriters, but in no
case shall the spacing of said fire hydrants be greater than four
hundred (400) feet."
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this ordin5nce shall be fined not less than Twenty -Five Dollars
($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.n0) for each offense
committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 3. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry , Il 1 i not s.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publ ication as provided by 1 aw.
