AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 3-1217 (18) of the Municipal Code, commonly known
as the TraffiE7 and Motor Vehicle Ordinance, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(18) WAUKEGAN ROAD along the south side of the street:
from a point 200 feet east of Front Street to Third Street;
from Green Street to the Fox River;
from Green Street to a point 88 feet west of Green Street;
from Third Street to a point 39 feet east of Third Street;
from a point 211 feet east of Third Street to a point 311 feet
east of Third Street. (in front of White House Kindergarten)
WAUKEGAN ROAD along the north side of the street:
from Green Street to Fourth Street;
from the east line of the entrance to the Old McHenry Hospital
to the Fox River.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty -Five Dollars ($25.00)
nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on
each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 3. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the aut ority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
