AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF Mc HENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. Section 13-1104 of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code,
City of McHenry, Illinois, commonly known as the Motor Vehicle and Traf-
fic Regulations Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following additional Stop Sign locations, it being unlawful
for the operator of any vehicle being operated on any of the streets
hereinafter listed in the column designated "Stop Street" to drive such
vehicle into the intersection with the street listed opposite to it in
the column designated "Intersecting Street" without first bringing such
vehicle to a full stop at the entrance to such intersection as indicated
by the signs located at such intersections:
STOP STREET INTERSECTING STREET
Huntington Drive ( Northbound) Sarasota Drive
Huntington Drive (Southbound) Sarasota Drive
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty -Five Dollars
(125.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars (1500.00) for each offense.
Section 3. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and un er the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as proivded by law.
