AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Article XII of the City of McHenry
ordinance regulating traffic and motor vehicles be and the
same is hereby amended by repealing Sections 13-1217(h) and
(i) and by adding the following additional provision as and
for Section 13-1209 thereof:
13-1209. Green Street Municipal Parking Lot. It
shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor
vehicle to park such vehicle in Zones A and B of the
Green Street Municipal Lot, as such zones are
designated on the attached Exhibit A, for a period of
time longer than is hereinafter designated for such
zones respectively:
Zone A - 4 consecutive hours
Zone B - 2 consecutive hours
No time restrictions shall apply to parking in
designated Zone C.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating
any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less
than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Five
Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on
each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 3. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
