AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2 - 7 6 ( B ) of the Municipal Code,
City of McHenry, Illinois be and the same is hereby amended
by changing the first sentence thereof to read as follows:
"The City shall pay the full cost of the
employee's health and accident insurance plan and, in
addition thereto, the full cost of a group life
insurance plan with life insurance coverage for
employee in the amount of $10,000.00, subject to annual review."
SECTION 2. Section 2 - 7 3 ( d ) of the Municipal Code,
City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"(d) Except for law enforcement personnel of the
City, the payment of overtime wages shall be made in
all cases after eight (8) hours worked in any single
day and all hours worked in excess of forty (40) in
any calendar week (see Section 2-73(j) for overtime
provisions relating to law enforcement personnel of
the City).
SECTION 3. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
