AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF SANITARY
AND INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER
(IN CONNECTION WITH THE ROUTE 120 BRIDGE IMPROVEMENT)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
as follows:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to discharge or permit or cause to be discharged sanitary and industrial
wastewater into any storm sewers constructed as part of the improvement
of the Illinois Route 120 Bridge Over the Fox River (F.A.P. Route 539,
State Section 14BR-79).
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions
of this ora ance shall be fined not more than $500.00 for each offense.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with t is or finance be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
