AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the authority contained in
Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24, Section 11-80-19, the
name of that part of Garden Quarter Drive from Royal Drive
northerly a distance of two -tenths of a mile be and it is hereby
changed to Northfox Lane.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give notice of the aforesaid
street name change to the election authorities having jurisdiction
in the area in which the name of the street is changed and to the
post office branch serving that area, with said notice to be given
in writing by certified or registered mail; -the foregoing change
in name will not be effective until 30 days after the aforesaid
notices to the election authorities and post office branch have
been given.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet
form by and under the authority of the corporate authorities
of the Citv of McHenrv. Illinois.
Section 4. All ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of Section 1 hereof be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
