AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY COUNTY,
ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, be and
the same is hereby amended by adding the following provision thereto
as and for Section 2-7 thereof:
SECTION 2-7. The term of elected City officials shall
commence upon their inauguration at the conclusion of
business of the regular annual meeting of the City
Council on the fourth Monday of April.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois, and shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as by law required.
