HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - MC-80-202 - 11/03/1980 - ch 13 green st municipal lot parkingMC-80-202 AN ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Section 13-1217 of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code, commonly known as the "Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations Ordinance" of the City of McHenry, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following as and for.paragraph (g): (g) The maximum time for which any vehicle shall be allowed to park in that area of the Green Street muni- cipal parking lot not designated on the attached plat for permit or fee parking is hereby established at two hours between the hours of 8:00 a.m, and 6:00 p.m., except Sunday. SECTION 2: Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code, commonly known as the "Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations Ordinance" of the City of McHenry, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following as for for Section 13-1219 thereof: 13-1219. Parking is permitted in the following areas on a monthly permit or fee basis only: (a) That part of the Green Street municipal parking lot designated on the attached plat.. Such fee shall be in the amount of $10.00 per calendar month and shall be payable to the City in advance. SECTION 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than $ 10.00 nor more than $500.00. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry. SECTION 5: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form. PASSED this 3rd NAYS: day of November , 1980. Nolan, Datz.
