AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 102-2 of Chapter 102 of the Municipal
Code, commonly known as the"Garage Sale" ordinance of the City of
McHenry, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 12-2. Definition. For purposes of this
Chapter, the term "garage sale" shall mean and
include all sales of tangible personal property
conducted on premises in the City that are zoned
for residential use, regardless of the name by which
such sale may be called.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form
by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form.
