AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 11-105(a) of Chapter 11 of the Municipal
Code, commonly known as the "Scavenger" ordinance of the City of McHenry,
be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as -follows:
(a) A scavenger licensed under this article shall
furnish a weekly curbside collection service for residences
in the city, at a maximum monthly pickup fee of six dollars
($6.00) without any limit as to the number of containers
or items handled. He shall also provide a weekly back -door
collection service for residence in the city, such service
to be contracted with the individual home owner at such
monthly fee as the home owner and the scavenger may agree upon.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form.
