AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 26-165(b) (1) and 26-165(b) (2) of Article III
of Chapter 26 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
(1) Those nonresidential users not using city water as a major part
of their business operation, five dollars (5.00) per month, provided
such water use is not metered.
SECTION 2. Penalty. Any person violating any provision of this ar-
ticle shall be fined not less than twenty-five ($25.00) dollars nor more
than five hundred ($500.00) dollars. Each day that such violation exists
shall be considered and penalized as a separate violation.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the Village.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be full force from and after its pas-
sage, approval and publication as required by law.
