AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Sections 13-1902 and 13-1903 of Chapter 13 of the
Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same are hereby
amended to read as follows:
13-I.902. PENALTY FOR OVERTIME PARKING. The penalty
imposed for violation of parking meter shall be
$10.00.
13-1903. PENALTY FOR ALL OTHER PARKING OFFENSES. The
penalty for all other parking offenses, with the
exception of violation of a fire lane, shall be
$20.00. The fine for violation of a fire lane
shall be $40.00.
SECTION 2. Section 13-211 of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code,
City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry,
Illinois, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following
section as and for Section 13-1906 thereof:
13-1906. VOLUNTARY SETTLEMENTS REGARDING CERTAIN ORDINANCE
VIOLATIONS. Any of the following described offenses
arising under Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code of the
City of McHenry, Illinois, and as amended, may be
settled and compromised by the offender within the
time herein specified after a Notice of violation therefor
is delivered to the offender, by payment to the City
of
McHenry, Illinois, the sum of money hereinafter set
forth opposite such offense:

SECTION 4. All Ordinances and parts thereof in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by
and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as required by law.
