AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 26-49 of the Municipal Code of
the City of McHenry be and is hereby amended by adding
the following paragraph:
"provided, however, that in the case of apartment,
commercial and industrial buildings having more than
one rental unit, each or some of which contain water
service facilities, the quarterly rate which shall be
paid for city water shall be $4.50 per each rental unit
in such building, or the metered rate for the entire
building, whichever is greater."
SECTION 2. All Ordinances and parts thereof in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval as
required by law.
