AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION, 1. Section 1217 of Article XII, Chapter 13 of the Municipal
Code MC-78-141 of the City of McHenry, relating to Parking Rules, be and
the same is hereby amended by adding the following as and for Paragraph
25 thereof:
(25) Adjacent to and on the approaches lying within the city
limits of the improvement at the intersection of Illinois
Route 120 (FAP Route 13) and Crystal Lake Road by installing
traffice control signals (to be known at STATE Section 14-TS-79
and as CITY Section 79-00029-00-TL), installing interconnection
and coordination equipment along Illinois Route 31 and Indus-
trial Drive, installing railroad pre-emption equipment for west-
bound Illinois Route 120 and by performing all other necessary
work to complete the improvement and the City will in the fu-
ture prohibit parking at such locations on or immediately ad-
jacent to this improvement as may be determined by the State of
Illinois to be necessary, from traffic capacity studies.
Section 2. All Ordinance, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof be and the same is hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication as by law required.
