AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF SANITARY
AND INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to discharge or permit or cause to be discharged sanitary and industrial water -
water into any storm sewers constructed as part of the improvement of the in-
tersection of Illinois Route 31, Illinois Route 120 and Front Street (F.A.P.
Route 860, State Section (111&112)N-(78), City Section 79-00027-00-TL).
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions
of this ordinance shall be fined not more than $500.00 for each offense.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
