AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 1217 of Article XII, Chapter 13 of the Municipal
Code MC-78-141 of the City of McHenry, relating to Parking Rules, be and the same
is hereby amended by adding the following as and for Paragraph 22 thereof:
(22) Within the limits of the improvement of the intersection of
Illinois Route 31, Illinois Route 120 and Front Street (F.A.P. Route
860, State Section (111&111)N-(78), City Section 79-00027-00-TL (except
where shown on the plans) and the City will in the future prohibit
parking at such locations on or immediately adjacent to this improve-
ment as may be determined by the State of Illinois to be necessary,
from traffic capacity studies.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof be and the same is hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as by law required.
