AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF SANITARY
AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE WATER
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of McHenry, Illinois:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to discharge or permit or cause to be discharged
sanitary and industrial wastewater into any storm sewers con-
structed as part of the improvement on Washington Street be-
tween Riverside Drive and State Route 31 in McHenry, Illinois.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not more than
$500.00 for each offense.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by 1 a.w.
PASSED: This 31st day of May, 1978.
AYES: Bolger, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Smith, Adams, Schooley.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Rogers

19 78 , and the same was signed and approved by the Mayor of said
City on the 31st day of May , 19 78
