AN ORDINANCE
13E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 Section 39a of the City of McHenry Ordinance
MC-48, commonly known as the Motor Vehicle and Traffic
Regulation Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following places at which the park-
ing of vehicles is prohibited:
(16) Between an existing curb and gutter and
existing sidewalk on the same side of the street
for a period of more than 24 consecutive hours.
(17) Between an existing curb and gutter and
existing right -of -Tway boundary line on the same
:aide of the street, where there is no existing
:sidewalk, for a period of more than 24 consecutive
hours.
SECTION 2 Any person, firm or corporation violating
the provision of Section 1 of this ordinance, shall be
fined not less than Five Dollars and not more than Five
Hundred Dollars for each offense.
SECTION 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, to the extent of such conflict,
be and the same are hereby repealed.
;SECTION 4 This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as by law required.
