AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. - Section 7-34(a) and (b) of Chapter 7,
Article II of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry,
Illinois relating to Electricity, be and the same is
hereby amended by deleting the year 1971 therein speci-
fied and by substituting in the places of said deletions
the year 1978.
Section 2, - Section 7-46 of Chapter 7, Article III
of the Municipal Code, City of_�McHenry, Illinois relating
to Plumbing, be and the same is hereby amended by deleting
the year 1969 therein specified and by substituting in
the place of said deletion the year 1976�.
Section 3, - Section 7-6 of Chapter, 7, Article I
of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, relating
to the adoption of the Building Ordinance of McHenry County
Illinois be and the same is hereby amended by adding the
following as additional paragraphs of and for said Section:
"Any and all references in the aforesaid
Building Ordinance of McHenry County, Illinois
to the BOCA Basis Building Code/1965 or other
years, be and the same is hereby amended by
deleting the year 1965, or other year therefrom,
and by substituting in the place of said deletion
the phrase '1975 Edition and including all 1976
and 1977 Supplements thereto'."
"Any and all references in the aforesaid
Building Ordinance of McHenry County, Illinois
to the One and Two Family Dwelling Code be and
the same are hereby amended by deleting the
designated year therefrom, and by substituting
in the place thereof the phrase '1975 Edition
and including all 1976 and 1977 Supplements thereto'."
Section 4. - All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5, - This Ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the Corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
Section 6. - This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as by law required.
