AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, COUNTY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code, City
of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding thereto the following Section as and for Section 12-9
thereof:
"Section 12-9. Penalties. Whenever in
this Code or in any Ordinance of the City the
conduct of any activity is permitted only
pursuant to and after the issuance of a lic-
ense or permit, where no specific penalty is
provided therefor, the violation of any such
provision of this Code or of any Ordinance
shall be punished by a fine of not less than
ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than five hundred
dollars ($500.00). Each day any violation of
any provision of this Code or of any Ordinance
shall continue shall constitute a separate
offense."
SECTION 2. All Ordinances and parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SEECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as required by
law.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet
form by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of
the City of McHenry, Illinois.
