AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, an application has been made to imend the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and such Ordinance as amended, to effect a
variance from"R-2" single family dwellings to allow the
construction of a duplex under the said Ordinance, of the following described
premises:
Lot 7 in Kelter Estate Subdivision Unit No. 1, being a sub-
division of part of Section 34, Township 45 N. Range 8, east
of the third principal Meridian, according, to the Plat there-
of recorded March 14, 1949 as Document No. 218953 in Book 10
of Plats, page 112, in McHenry County, Illinois.
AND, WHEREAS, the pertinent provision of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of McHenry, and such Ordinance as amended, have been complied with
by the Petitioners,
AND, WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly held by the Zoning
Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry and, as a result of said hearing,
the Zoning Board of Appeals has approved and recommends the variation re-
quested:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
1•,c}ier,ry, as follows:
The Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, and such
Ordinance as amended, is hereby further amended to pro-
vide that the hereinabove described premises be and here-
by are granted a variation to allow the construction of
a duplex and that the appropriate permit, or permits,
shall issue for such use when properly requested.
The passage of this Ordinance was moved by 119 C 16
seconded by-S C I -A KAr l- _, and upon a vote being
taken, the Mayor declared the motion passed.
Passed and approved this 18th day of April., 1977. /
